Realize the Garden

The Century plant was believed to bloom once in 100 years.
Imagine the gardener with enough patience to wait 100 years to see a bloom.
It takes time for the human spirit to bloom. Our gardener is full of patience.

Thistle in a garden?  This plant thrives where the soil has been neglected.  It is said Musk Thistle fibers can be used to make paper.   Interesting...when we neglect the garden this hardy plant grows.  A plant to make paper.  How do we pass on what we know.   How do we keep ideas alive if we don't speak of them.  The garden will survive even if we neglect it.  It is never too late to realize the garden.

above:  This rock formation has it's own symbolism,  hiding in the mountainside.    A few years ago Mastodon bones were found in the Valley near this rock.   I know Elephants are different then Mastodons.  The head, teeth, and jaw,  which are hidden,  is how you tell the difference.   How old is this garden?

Someone has been painting this rock for as long as I can remember.  The way this rock is split makes it look just like a sliced apple.  I didn't see any bite marks, but maybe a slice was missing.   Did the serpent slice the apple?  Making the offering more enticing?

I finally found out who's been putting a fresh coat of paint on the apple rock. Thelma Grant (the quiet one from Meadowbrook) from the RCUC, along with a group of women in that area.
